Chronic Doodler

I'm a bit of a chronic doodler. Christy and I were playing  "Scribblish" (with modified rules) at the Stackhouse's, which is pretty much a game where everybody sits around doodling. After a few games we went on to something different... but I couldn't stop drawing... like usual. Some people find it annoying. So do I sometimes. Anyway, Scribblish is one of my favorite games now and posted is a doodle from yesterday when I was supposed to be paying attention.

Christy and I went through Washington D.C. to see her family in Pennsylvania. While In D.C., I felt like Gomer Pyle with a GPS navigator and in western PA I was practically agent 006 (Of course, I'm an excellent driver so no one actually got angry at me in the Capital City).
 ______
We went to the Pymatuning Spillway. They say it's "where the ducks walk on the fish" but the ducks didn't seem too keen on that idea. It was fun to watch the fish flop around to get a breath of water though.

Sermon Notes/Tragedy

In a terribly tragic accident, my sketchbook got caught in the rain. I blame the weather. It was all "Oh, go ahead leave your stuff out here while you work on the pool. I haven't rained in months." and I was all like "Okay, and I'll water the lawn while I'm at it." Evil surreptitious atmospheric conditions. It didn't stop raining for months... it seems like.

Night Swim/Brumby's Green Thumb

Notes: We were watching Lassie in our pool and the dogs got really confused.

Later Brumby stole some of Christy's cucumbers and buried them by the house. They grew nicely in the shade after ours grew old and died in the sun.

IF: transportation

Normally he would drive his KIA. But for some reason, in early fall, the townspeople don't seem to notice when he gets a ride to work on Sven's back.

Champions/Camping

Once again, the Newshounds won the Southpot/Oak Island Adult soccer tournament.

Then I decided that Liam and I should spend the night on that island in the Intracoastal Waterway. It was low tide that night and again in the morning so swimming across was pretty easy.
